To Juniors and Seniors…..On Monday, Jan. 29 at 9:15 am, a representative from Grand Canyon University will be here to meet with anyone interested in attending college there.

If you need a pass, please see Mrs. Kelzer

 DS Driving School of Chaska will be holding the classroom driving sessions beginning on Feb. 28 thru March 9.  Time is 3-6 PM at Mayer Lutheran.  Please contact DS Driving at 952-942-9999 or www.dsdrivingschoolwest.com to register your student.  All questions are to be directed to DS.

College Preparatory Program:  Juniors and sophomores with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater may apply for this program at the beginning of their sophomore year through the end of the junior year.  Students must receive a “B” or better in at least 12 semester credits coming from 300 and 400 level classes of these areas and maintain and overall 3.0 GPA or higher to remain in the program. Applications can be picked up in the office from Mrs. Jopp or Mrs. Kelzer.

Program Title: Insider tips to navigate the complicated college process and save lots of money

Program Description:

Parents of HS students will not want to miss hearing a national expert provide strategies to help families navigate the complicated college process and save tens of thousands of dollars.

College is now the second largest purchase most families make in their lives, yet most know more about buying a television. Class will cover common mistakes families make in selecting a college, myths about financial aid, and how to significantly reduce your cost.

Planning ahead and developing a strategy for the college process is crucial to finding the right fit and avoiding unmanageable debt. A must for parents of college bound students.

Feb. 12 – Booster 7:00 in the Media Center

Feb. 12 – Instrumental Solo Contest at Annandale 3:00 – 8:00 at Annandale H.S. (new)
