Welcome, Mayer Lutheran Alumni!
Whether you call your alma mater “LHS” or “MLHS” doesn’t matter to us. As a graduate of the place now called Mayer Lutheran High School, you’re part of the family! We love it when our alumni stop back in to say “Hi” and let us know how they’re doing. If you haven’t been back on campus for a while, things may have changed a bit, and we’d love to show you around! Just let us know if you’re coming and would like a tour.
As alumni of MLHS, here are a few other things you should know about…
The MLHS Alumni Association
We’ve recently started a Mayer Lutheran High School Alumni Association to help connect and engage alumni with each other and with their alma mater. Association members are any alumni who have donated $100 or more directly to the school in a calendar year. Members will have the opportunity to help decide on special projects for the school undertaken by the Alumni Association.
If you’re not a member yet and you’d like to be, you can join by making a $100 donation today. Click here to go to our online donation form, and then choose “Alumni Association” from the “Type of Donation” drop-down list.
Alumni Association Awards
Your MLHS Alumni Board, as one of their first actions, created an awards program to recognize leaders in church, the workplace and the community through the Distinguished Leadership Award, and coaches, athletes and other significant contributors to MLHS athletic programs through our Athletic Hall of Fame.
Reunions
We encourage you to get together with your classmates regularly, and having a class reunion is a great way to do that! If you’re thinking you’d like to get your class together, the MLHS alumni office is here to help. While we won’t do the planning of your class reunion for you, we will get you address information for your classmates, send out invitations for you, and even help you hold your reunion here on campus if that’s what you’d like. Contact the alumni office and let us know what you’re planning and how we can help!
We’re also in discussion about some all-school reunions in the future, so stay tuned for that!
