For the first time in its history, the Celebrate His Harvest gala was held on the campus of Mayer Lutheran. Thanks to the more than three hundred guests, $67,000 was raised for student aid. More importantly, Crusader Nation had a chance to celebrate and embrace the ministry of preparing the next generation of Christian leaders. Student and alumni testimonials, musical ensembles, a phenomenal live auction led by Brian Biermann (’80) as auctioneer, and many opportunities to hear about the great things God is doing with and among the students of Mayer Lutheran were enjoyed by our very enthusiastic crowd. God has richly blessed our ministry!
For a decade, Celebrate His Harvest has been the school’s premier fundraising gathering. This year’s co-chairs, Kim Martin and Jen (Hoese) Fisher (’86), performed a herculean effort in making all the many pieces fall into place. Having the event on our campus was even more work than in the past. Their dedication, patience, and wisdom were splendid blessings to all of our students! We are grateful for their service!
Be sure to mark your calendar for the next Celebrate His Harvest gala to be held on November 30, 2018 in the new field house. More information will shared as we move forward with planning yet another fantastic experience.
