Black History Month
Tuesday, Feb. 1: From the many notable Black Americans, Mayer Lutheran will choose one to highlight each school day during the month of February. Some of these names may be familiar to you, and some may not, but we hope you enjoy learning about all of them. Our first is the man credited with starting Black History Month, Dr. Carter G. Woodson. Wednesday, Feb. 2: Rosa J. Young was known as the “mother of Black Lutheranism in central Alabama” and she was a strong advocate of education for rural children. Concordia College Alabama in Selma was founded with her influence in 1922. Learn more about Rosa at https://loom.ly/jNB2SuQ.

Sub Drivers Needed- Mayer Lutheran is seeking sub drivers for their transportation routes. Approximate times are 6:15am-8:00am and 3:15pm-4:45pm. No special license is required.
