The Agprofessionals West Central, MN (formerly West Central Ag Sales Association) has provided scholarships for students for over $400,000 in assistance throughout the past twenty-five years.
- Scholarship opportunities for your students:
The Ag professionals provide scholarships ranging from $200 to $1000 in size for individuals pursuing a career in agriculture.
We are asking for your help in identifying:
- Seniors in high school who have applied and have been accepted for postsecondary training in an agricultural major. This scholarship will be awarded following the first semester in Ag college.
- Students currently enrolled in postsecondary agricultural majors.
A scholarship application is enclosed for students who meet the above criteria and live in Minnesota or out of state students that will attend the Ridgewater College Agriculture program.
We ask that you help get the scholarship application to those students who could benefit. Scholarship applications must be completed by the applicant. Feel free to make additional copies.
- Grant opportunities for your programs:
The Agprofessionals also provides grants to assist with agricultural education and promotion needs. For example, in the past, grants have been given to high school and college agriculture programs and 4-H programs to support leadership, or occupational conferences and other events that pertain to careers in agriculture. The grant application is enclosed with this mailing.
