Southern Valley Alliance – (formerly known as Southern Valley Alliance for Women) serves both Carver and Scott Counties. They provide assistance for victims of battering, temporary shelter, support and education. Contact: 952.873.4214

NorthStar Regional exists to provide kind, considerate, compassionate care for people dealing with a life crisis, mental health issues, or relationship-related issues, with the goal of restoring health, healing, and spiritual wholeness. Treehouse is an organization that helps at-risk teens to feel love, hope and to transform their lives. Their mission is to bring hope to hurting youth and families. It is grounded on five core values G.R.A.C.E. Growth, Relationships, Authenticity, Community, Empowerment. There are several locations throughout the Twin Cities. Prairie-Care offers Mental Health care to children, adolescents and adults. They are devoted to offering comprehensive and integrated psychiatric services for all ages, including both inpatient and outpatient treatment. They have several locations listed on their website: www.prairie-care.com They are not a Christian-based facility, however Pastor Gerald Schwanke is a licensed therapist that works in the Chaska location and will be happy to assist and bring Christ into his sessions. Minnesota South District offers Christian Counseling Services for individuals, families, and congregations in accordance with God’s Word. Please visit: www.mnsdistrict.org website, click on Resources – Wellness. They offer several counseling resources through many talented therapists at several locations in Minnesota South District.

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is a group that advocates to promote the mental health system. NAMI provides free classes, support groups, suicide prevention, information and resources for youth, parents, professionals and community members.
