Building Relationships in Anapra
Planning is nearly complete for our 11th Mission Trip to Ysleta Lutheran Mission in El Paso, TX, Tuesday, December 29 to Thursday, January 7. We are fully expecting that God will accomplish incredible things again this coming year. Our plan is to take 44 Mayer Lutheran students over the last portion of Christmas break through J-Term, to help build homes, build relationships with the children and families in Anapra (an especially impoverish area of Juarez, MX), and have their faith challenged and stretched during the week-plus experience. As always, we ask for the prayers of our MLHS community, that God would use us to encourage and to be encouraged, as these young people step out of their nice, neat, comfortable world, to share the love of Jesus in Anapra.
