Thank You Veterans!

Richard M. Brown, a WWII bomber pilot who fought on D-Day and grandpa of MLHS alumus, Pete Studer (’94) (pictured here with daughter Mary and great-granddaughter Avery), joined more than 50 veterans for a Veterans Day observance at MLHS November 9. We are grateful for the sacrifice of our veterans and for their constant reminder that freedom is not free. Our service included messages shared by Pastor LeRoy LaPlant of St. Mark’s (New Germany), MLHS alumni Ted Wetzel and Leon Franke, and Dr. Scott Jensen in addition to music by MLHS and Zion Lutheran School (Mayer).
